Well-rounded effort by the P-Rays tonight. Three-run rallies in the 3rd and 7th innings bracketed a two-run rally in the 6th.
Geno Glynn went 3-4, including his first professional home run, Tomas Francisco delivered a clutch two-out, two-run single in the 6th, and starting pitcher Deivis Mavares was solid for the second consecutive outing.
Princeton clinched the Mercer Cup championship last night. Tonight's win lifts the P-Rays to 7-2 against Bluefield this season.
It's been noted before, but, from a Princeton perspective ... even with the trophy in hand, it's always nice to beat Bluefield.

Kyle,
ReplyDeleteAs a Baltimore Oriole fan, I was thankful that the Bluefield Orioles were on the Internet.
I really enjoyed your broadcast, and your blog motivated me to start writing my personal journals on the web. If you get a chance, check it out. It's titled "Trapped in Baltimore".
